Age Requirements for CC Programs

The Foundations Program

The Foundations Program has been created for children between the ages of 4 to 12. Children who are present on-site with their family, and are age 4 by June 1st or older, must be enrolled in a Foundations Program. At this age, they would no longer attend the nursery if a community has one. Children who turn four after June 1 may be enrolled at the discretion of the parent and Licensed Director, providing there is room in the program and they are not taking the space of a child that is age four or older by June 1. If the student turns 12 by September 30th and is entering the 7th grade they would enroll in the Challenge A program.

The Essentials Program

The age of enrollment for the Essentials Program is age 9 (by September 30th) and older. Students may be enrolled in Essentials only or both Foundations and Essentials. If the student turns 12 by September 30th and is entering the 7th grade they would enroll in the Challenge A program. 

The Challenge Program

Because of the dialectic and rigorous nature of the Challenge level and the material that is covered in the upper levels, we want students to have the social, mental, and spiritual maturity to appropriately handle the material that is covered. The age requirements for our programs are very strict and are in place to benefit students and families. If you have additional questions, we would encourage you to discuss this situation with the Director and/or the Support Representative for your area.

Challenge A- The Student must be age 12 by September 30th to be qualified to join a Challenge A program. 

Challenge B- The Student must be age 13 by September 30th to be qualified to join a Challenge B program. 

Challenge I- The Student must be age 14 by September 30th to be qualified to join a Challenge I program. 

Challenge II-The Student must be age 15 by September 30th to be qualified to join a Challenge II program. 

Challenge III- The Student must be age 16 by September 30th to be qualified to join a Challenge III program. 

Challenge IV- The Student must be age 17 by September 30th to be qualified to join a Challenge IV program.
