My documents will not open

Documents normally don't load due to pop-up blockers within the browser.  The browser will have an alert that it has blocked a pop-up and the user should click the option to allow this site ( to allow popups. 

Browsers not listed can be searched through google.   

Chrome:  Prompted Pop Up Blocker 

Manually allow Pop Up: (Search Google for Image walkthroughs)

  1.  With Chrome open, click the 3 dot setting icon located at the top right of browser.  
  2. Click Settings
  3. Go to bottom and click Advanced.
  4. Under "Privacy and security," click Content settings.
  5. Click Popups. 
  6. Add to Allow list
  7. Save

Internet Explorer Prompted Pop Up Blocker 

Manually all Pop Up - (Search Google for Image walkthroughs)

  1. Open up Internet Explorer and click the Tools button icon in the top toolbar.
  2. Select Internet Options, then click the Privacy tab.
  3. Click the Settings button next to Pop-Up blocker 
  4. Enter to allow pop-ups for in the text box
  5. Click Close, and then Apply.

Manually all Pop Up - (Search Google for Image walkthroughs)

  1. Click the Open Menu button (it looks like 3 horizontal bars, located in the top right corner of the browser).
  2. Click Options (for Mac, start from the Firefox menu using the Finder and select Preferences). You can also use the Tools menu if you press F10 or the ALT key.
  3. Click the Content tab.
  4. In the Pop-ups section, click Exceptions.
  5. Enter and click Allow.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Restart Firefox.


Note:  Safari does not allow a single site to allow pop-ups.  Turning Pop-up blocker off will turn it off for all sites.  

  1. From the Safari menu, choose Preferences... and click the Security tab.
  2. Ensure the Block pop-up windows option is not checked. Unchecking this option will allow pop-ups.
  3. To block pop-ups once again, check the Block pop-up windows checkbox.
